OMAN – Three equally sized horizontal stripes, white (top), red (middle), and green (bottom) constitute the flag of Oman, which was adopted in 1995. A lone vertical red stripe rests at the extreme left hand side. Charged at the top of the vertical red stripe is the national emblem of Oman; two crossed swords, a dagger called a “Khanjar,” and a belt.
